These programs will benefit all children in Columbia, Greene and Northern Dutchess County schools, including those that are underprivileged, have a physical or mental challenge, or are terminally ill. This introduction will impact the lives of children by providing equipment, transportation, scholarships and professional golf instruction delivered by trained PGA and First Tee coaches. These coaches will work hand in hand with host schools’ physical educators, during gym class. These in class activities along with afterschool programs will bridge the gap between golf and life, engage children to play this lifelong sport, and teach children these 9 core values:

Our Events

The sole purpose of these events are to engage the community and create awareness about the ultimate goals of the Playground Golf Foundation. 100% of the proceeds from these events will go towards providing equipment and programming to the schools and children in Columbia and Greene Counties.

Golf in Schools Program

A community-based junior golf program, ‘Hudson City School District Golf in Schools Program’ (HSCDGISP) will be established in Hudson, the neighboring town schools of the HSCD will be participating in the program. HSCDGISP will focus on providing golf instruction to the physical education teachers in the Columbia, Greene, Northern Dutchess and the Capital District of Albany.
